That quote was one of the main points we went through last last Sunday. God really spoke to us through that one verse. I believe there are various references to it in the Bible, but the one we were looking at was James 4:6. And still today, two Sundays later, I'm struggling as I learn what it really means.
ahhh pride...tis one of my weakest points. But the Lord has taught me to leave all that behind, whilst I am growing as a Christian. I find it so hard to cope with it sometimes...I call it an ego-blow but oh well. The best thing to do is to pray, humble yourself to Him and let Him do the rest. Just as the verse says, He "giveth" grace. I guess being humble might be difficult but its the best way.
